Where has all the time gone?
I was just sitting here thinking about that when twenty minutes passed me by.
Just like that.
Who has time to keep track?
Lots of things happening or have happened or will happen in the not so distant past/future so look out for them.
Hey, I moved!
This time without much incident. No Circusman, just a rented van. Out to one of the other boroughs that I haven't tried yet.
I'm in Brooklyn. Williamsburg to be precise. The Italian section, complete with mafiosos watching the block and taking up parking spaces with their ginormous caddy SUV's and flags flying around the street and a nice landlady who give me sausage and cheese.
Homemade sausage.
really thick greasy sausage.
Sausage you can see bits of what it's made out of sausage.
Sausage that when you bite it, you can tell what the animal had for lunch before it became sausage, sausage.
Wow.
yeah.
And it's all due to one lovely Jeslyn Kelly.
She's the greatest. We all love her.
Couldn't have done it without her.
Really.
Not the sausage bit, that's Bettina. The moving bit.
Anyhowdywho, moving once again I finally tried to get all my stuff in one place.
From Queens, from California, from manhattan, from Delaware.
I've got most of it.
Or, rather, I've let a lot of it go and decided it is not mine anymore.
Three king sized beds in NYC is a bit much.
I downsized to just two, but only one of them is here with me in the Burg.
The other thing about moving, not that there are just a few, but on more thing is that once you get situated and organized and you go to look for something, like candles or tea lights or a single sock, you find it almost impossible to find. And you reorganize some of the other things you already organized in order to find it. And then you get sidetracked when you discover something you were looking for five days ago and it takes you almost an hour to light a friggin' candle and get back to doing what you wanted to be doing with a candle in the first place but by now is far less relaxing almost in spite of the candle that you wanted to help add to the relaxation in the first place so you might as well have forgotten the whole thing, saved your hour and made a pizza.
It's Italian.
Well then.
What have you been up to?
Please drop me a line.
I'm always available.
Unless I'm not. But then I'll get back to you when I am.
Does that make sense in today's world?
Much love and thanks for listening
